The human figure in art carries tremendous significance. In
different ways and through different periods, this subject has
offered artists the most direct means of addressing the human
condition. Out of Shape: Bodies in Contemporary Art is comprised of
works from the Norton Museum Collection that examine the human
figure in various media and techniques. Included in this exhibition
are works by William Kentridge, Viola Frey, Duane Hanson, Yinka
Shonibare, and Robert Rauschenberg. |
