West Courtyard
Adjacent to the Theater, the focal point of the enclosed West Courtyard is an inlaid terrazzo floor with an octagonal gazebo.
Atrium
The dramatic three-story atrium with architectural motifs that express the artistic statements found in the permanent collections features a cantilevered spiral staircase.
Central Garden
The Central Garden is centrally located on the historic Museum grounds. This magnificent garden boasts a variety of sculptures and lush plantings. The garden features covered loggias on two sides, a central fountain, and magnificent majul palms.
The Arnold & Marie Schwartz Theater
The elegant historic Theater was designed in 1941 by Marion Sims Wyeth. It features cypress walls and ceilings and specially designed fabrics inspired by the art deco luxury liner, the S.S. Normandie.
Harris Family Pavilion
This space contains a specially commissioned Dale Chihuly glass ceiling with aquatic blues, greens, and touches of gold.
Lindemann Board Room
The classroom is ideal for lectures and small meetings. The space is equipped with a foldaway screen for multimedia presentations and is wired for a computer and video technology.
Terrace Room
Located on the second floor of the Gail and Melvin Nessel Wing and bathed in natural light, the Terrace room creates a lovely setting for a meeting.
Private Dining Room
The dining room is ideal for small meetings and private luncheons. The space is equipped with a foldaway screen for multimedia presentations and is wired for a computer and video technology. It is located next to the West Courtyard.
The East Loggia
Running adjacent to the West Courtyard, this functional, yet pretty area is perfect for after-meeting cocktails or continental breakfast gatherings.
East Maze Garden
The East Maze Garden is located in front of the Museum’s historic east façade with a beautiful view of the Intracoastal Waterway. It features a classically-themed inlaid brick maze of Theseus Slaying the Minotaur.
