In 1993, the stars aligned in Jupiter, Florida at the family residence of Douglas Andrews, a collector of contemporary art. Friendly with such notable artists as Donald Baechler, Julian Schnabel, Philip Taaffe, and Cy Twombly, among others, each agreed to contribute miniature artworks to hang on the interior walls of his mother’s dollhouses, a hobby she shared with her granddaughters. The three structures include more than a dozen rooms filled with art. This will be the public premier of this exceptional collaboration.
Organized by the Norton Museum of Art.
