Climate Change

Timothy Morton, Rita Shea Guffey Chair in English at Rice University, and author of Dark Ecology: For a Logic of Future Coexistence, is the keynote speaker for this panel discussion on climate change and its implications. Panelists are scientists, policy makers and advocates addressing the impact of climate change in our region and across the globe, including Joshua Willis, Oceanographer, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory; Tiffany Troxler, Director, FIU Sea Level Solutions Center; Jacqueline Patterson, Director, NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program; and others.  A light lunch will be provided. The program is offered in conjunction with the special exhibition Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene.
