The Young Friends of the Norton is a dynamic group of young professionals who seek to promote and advance the appreciation of the visual arts, and who share a passion for art and a commitment to the Norton. Young Friends offers a variety of opportunities to further understand and enjoy the Museum Collection and special exhibitions. Each season, the Young Friends of the Norton presents exciting events that bring young professionals together in a fun, energetic way.

Curator’s Conversation, From Idea to Opening
Curatorial Associate Jerry Dobrick will guide Young Friends through the special exhibition Master Prints: Dürer to Matisse, as he outlines the process of curating a show and how a simple exhibition idea goes from theoretical to actual. After the tour, get to know fellow Friends during a special “Table-Top Exhibition” activity led by Glenn Tomlinson, William Randolph Hearst Curator of Education.
