Art After Dark

 

Join us each Thursday, from 5 p.m.- 9 p.m. What began as a monthly experiment in June, 2009, has become a weekly celebration of diverse cultures, performance and visual arts, great food and socializing at the Norton Museum of Art.  Art After Dark draws hundreds of people to the Museum for a variety of activities, tours, and culinary treats each Thursday night.  Find out what is happening each week at www.norton.org; bring family, meet friends, and join us for Art After Dark.  

All ages welcome: admission is FREE to Members and children under 12; $12 for adults, $5 for students with a valid ID. Group rates available.

6 p.m. Film: Sabrina (1954) - A playboy becomes interested in the daughter of his family's chauffeur. But it's his more serious brother who would be the better man for her. Starring Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn, and William Holden.

7 p.m.  Corning Museum Glass blowing demonstration "You Design It, We Make It"

7 p.m. - 9 p.m.  Musical performance: Afro-Latin dance rhythms of Moska Project

8 p.m. Corning Museum Glass blowing demonstration "Late Show"

 

CAFÉ 1451 is open for Happy Hour. Enjoy a two-for-one drink special with food purchase.

The Corning Museum of Glass Hot Glass Roadshow is an additional $3, but free to Museum Members as well as children age 12 and under.

6 p.m. - 8 p.m. activity: Cocktail Tasting with Tito’s Handmade Vodka

7 p.m.-9 p.m.  music:   Music by Grammy-nominated saxophone player John Michalak. John has recorded/performed around the world with Julio Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Santana, Gloria Estefan, Patti Labelle, Jon Secada, KC and the Sunshine Band, and David Lee Roth among others.
