The Young Friends of the Norton Museum of Art is a vibrant group of young professionals committed to supporting the Norton’s mission to preserve, collect, exhibit, and interpret art through a diverse schedule of educational and social events that focuses on the Museum Collection and special exhibitions. Young Friends also supports an Acquisition Fund that helps strengthen and build the Museum Collection.

Uptown Art Comes Back to the Norton

Sip wine as Uptown Art instructors guide you step-by-step to create your own version of a Matisse painting from the Norton Collection.

Gallery Talk with a Curator

Enjoy a talk in the gallery with Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs, on the contemporary masterpiece by David Hammons. Reception to follow.

Diamond Gala After-Party

Dance the night away at the biggest Young Friends event of the season and celebrate the Norton’s 75th anniversary with the third annual Gala after-dinner fête. A portion of the proceeds supports the Young Friends Acquisition Fund.

Meet at the Museum for round-trip transportation to the most important art show in the country. Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs, will provide a preview of the fair and offer suggestions for exploring the vast and colorful galleries. Includes transportation, admission, and lunch.

RAW Special Exhibition Opening Reception
