Art After Dark features live performances and a guest panel celebrating the themes and ideas of The Body Says, I Am A Fiesta: The Figure in Latin American Art.

  • Place & Space: Negotiating Displacement Through a Cultural Lens

    Presented in partnership with New Wave Art Wknd, join panelists Cheryl Brutvan, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Curator of Contemporary Art, Francisco Maso, Lina Puerta, and Henry Reese, Moderated by Dr. Isolde Brielmaier for a frank discussion on the idea of home, belonging and what it means in today's socio-political landscape for immigrant artists to create and establish their place.

  • Jazz Friday: Kemuel Roig Trio

    Award-winning pianist Kemuel Roig performs Afro-Cuban jazz with Lowell Ringel on bass and Hilario Bell on drums. Cuban-born and classically trained, Kemuel Roig mixes his Cuban roots with traditional jazz style. Experience intimate, informal performances by some of South Florida’s best jazz musicians as part of Art After Dark every first Friday of the month.

    This concert takes place in Stiller Auditorium. Tickets will be available one hour before the performance at the Visitor Experience Desk.

  • Performance: Nu Flamenco Collaborative

    Directed by Niurca Marquez, this multidisciplinary performance explores what it means to be Latina through dance, text, and song.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $5 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
