Join Nicole Henao, Outreach & Family Program Coordinator, to explore a selected work in the exhibition María Berrío: Esperando mientras la noche florece (Waiting for the Night to Bloom). Henao will discuss various themes present in Berrío’s work and how she uses specific techniques to achieve her large-scale, brilliantly colored collages. Henao will draw inspiration from Berrío’s approach to lead a workshop exploring the process of assembling a collage.

  • A base for your collage. This can be a canvas or mixed media paper

About the Exhibition

María Berrío: Esperando mientras la noche florece (Waiting for the Night to Bloom) marks the artist’s first solo museum survey, and the eighth exhibition of the Museum’s celebrated Recognition of Art by Women (RAW) series.
