Photomontage Film Posters

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21 / 10 AM - 1 PM

Join Ellen Lupton, Senior Curator of Contemporary Design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, to experiment with the technique of photomontage in this hands-on workshop. Teens and adults will work with an archive of images and carefully selected art materials to create dynamic posters inspired by the history of modern film and graphic design.

Workshop Admission: $20 / $15 Museum Members / $5 students

Cost includes workshop materials.

About Ellen Lupton

Ellen Lupton is curator of contemporary design at Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York City and director of the Graphic Design MFA program at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore. An author of numerous books and articles on design, she is a public-minded critic, frequent lecturer, and AIGA Gold Medalist.
