How did artists in the United States respond to the global catastrophe of 1914-1918? In conjunction with the Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: Sculpture exhibition, Robert Cozzolino, Patrick and Aimee Butler Curator of Paintings, Minneapolis Institute of Art, explores how the war affected artists both civilian and in uniform.
