A special presentation by American jewelry artist Donald Friedlich. For more than 20 years, Friedlich has been exploring the potential of glass in his necklaces and brooches.

Long time collaborators Derek Fairholm (Piano), Eric England (Bass) and Rodolfo Zuniga (drums) perform contemporary original compositions and energetic jazz improvisations.

7 PM /Gallery Talk: Romare Bearden's On Such a Night as This
Lesley Wolff, Graduate Fellow, discusses the fascinating entanglement of Afro-Caribbean and Greco-Roman mythologies in Bearden’s collage about 20th century African-American life.

7:30 PM / Exhibition Tour: Jean Michel Basquiat: Drawing into Painting
