An innovative exhibition of old master paintings and sculpture selected from the Norton’s holdings and a private collection, arranged thematically, rather than chronologically or by school. Some works will be familiar masterpieces while others have not been on view for several years. This exhibition showcases works spanning four centuries and includes British, Dutch, Flemish, French, and Italian examples by such well-known artists as François Boucher, Lucas Cranach the Elder, Sir Anthony van Dyke, Giovanni Paolo Panini, Sir Joshua Reynolds, Sir Peter Paul Rubens, and Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.
