A bilingual storytime reading of author Jacqueline Woodson's The Day You Begin followed by a discussion of the James Chapin painting Ruby Green Singing in the Norton's collection.

Nick Cave: A Mask for the New Year
Get a virtual view of Nick Cave's wearable sculpture, Soundsuit, from the Museum's Contemporary collection. We will then use a combination of recycled materials to make our own mask for the New Year.

Mixed-Media Workshop
Out with the old and in with the new! Celebrate the hope of the New Year by turning your wishes into a mix-media art piece. Artist Shawna Lukia Moulton teaches multi-faceted techniques you can apply to your work, and enjoy all year long.

Virtual Family Trivia
Families with children ages 5-12
It's Trivia time at the Norton! Grab your entire family to play… trust us, you'll need them to play this game! Participants will test their knowledge of the Norton's history, collections, and artists in a friendly competition to win a Supporter Membership to the Norton (2 adults + children).

Virtual Teen Trivia
Teens ages 13+
It's Trivia Time! Join us for a friendly competition that will test your knowledge of the Museum's history, collection, artists, and pop culture. The winner will receive 4 Teen passes for free admission to the Museum.

Jazz Friday - Family Edition
It's a new year! Tune in for a family-friendly performance featuring a jazz concert and spectacular bubble artistry. The Oxbridge Academy Jazz Ensemble plays an exciting selection of music by Dave Brubeck, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, and others. The ensemble is joined by entertainer Kristina who delights audiences of all ages with a mesmerizing bubble show.
