Norton Teen Advisory Squad (TASQ)

Application is now open for the 2022 season!

The Teen Advisory Squad (TASQ) is made up of 15 dynamic teens from schools throughout Palm Beach County who are selected from an annual application process and are provided the opportunity to turn their creative ideas to action by collaborating, innovating, and designing programs at the Museum for all teens. The group meets weekly with each session encouraging the members to engage in intimate and thoughtful discussions about art and programming.

TASQ members embark on a variety experiences:

Meet artists, museum staff, and other teens interested in the arts
Build creative, public speaking, and collaborative skills
Create a group art project
Attend a field trip to an arts organization
Design and lead their own public programs for teens
Receive art supplies and community service hours
Get paid $10 an hour stipend

TASQ FAQs

Who can apply? High School Students living in Palm Beach County.

What is the schedule? TASQ meets on Fridays from January-April, 2022, 4:30-6:30 pm. Members also participate in hosting select Teen Programs, Museum-wide festivals, as well as other Museum programs that may take place throughout the weekday evenings and Saturdays. TASQ will meet in person, at the Museum, with select meetings taking place via Zoom.

The Norton Museum of Art COVID-19 Policies

MASKS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES


The health and safety of our guests is a top priority for the Norton Museum. Beginning October 1, 2021, guests (ages 12+) visiting the Norton Museum of Art will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 professionally administered PCR test taken within 72 hours; or a negative COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test conducted within 24 hours; OR voluntarily show proof of COVID-19 vaccination (together with a valid photo ID for ages 18+). 
"At-home” COVID-19 tests are not accepted. Professionally administered tests only.

Masks are required at all times regardless of negative tests or vaccination status,
except when visiting the Museum Garden or while actively eating or drinking in The Restaurant or Great Hall

This policy is based on guidance and recommendations issued by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other authoritative or controlling government-issued health standards.
