Tips for a Wonderful Museum Visit

Become familiar with the Norton: review your trip details and all documents with staff and campers prior to your visit.

For the best experience: Divide campers into groups of approximately 10 students and one chaperone. Organizing your groups by age will also be helpful. Arrange your groups BEFORE arrival to ensure your tour starts on time.

Share ideas: While the primary role of chaperones is to manage behavior and keep groups together, we encourage adults to share ideas and ask questions. Your interest will motivate the campers.

Strictly follow these Museum Guidelines: Do not touch any artwork. For your safety and that of the artwork, keep an arm’s length away from all works of art at all times. Do not bring food or drink in the galleries. Leave backpacks and large bags on the bus.

Camper Drop-off / Bus Parking

Please direct your bus driver to the bus drop-off zone on Jefferson Road and Dixie at the north end of the Museum. Once your group has unloaded and assembled on the sidewalk, the bus may park in the lot across the street from the Museum at 1501 South Dixie Highway. Be sure to notify your bus driver of your departure time from the Museum.
