ArtSpeaks | Art and Life in Rembrandt’s Time

Join Elizabeth Nogrady, Curator of The Leiden Collection, to explore daily life in 17th-century Holland and its depiction in art. Paintings by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, Johannes Vermeer, and their peers appealed to a public eager to acquire art, a widespread phenomenon in the newly independent Dutch Republic.
Space is limited; online registration required. (available September 24 for members and October 1 for non-members).
