Hope Alswang is retiring after nearly nine years as the Norton’s Executive Director and CEO. Her tenure is distinguished by spearheading the Museum’s landmark Norman Foster designed expansion, which makes its public debut on February 9. She also launched initiatives to diversify the Museum’s collections and exhibitions such as the RAW— Recognition of Art by Women—series, an annual exhibition showcasing the work of a living female artist; and the Rudin Prize, given biennially to an emerging photographer whose work is on the cutting edge of the field. On this final day of her directorship, Alswang reflects on the past and future of the Museum, and engages in an informal Q&A with the audience.
