South Florida-based artists lead informal, 30-minute gallery talks about works in the Norton’s collection and special exhibitions.

    Docents Discuss Great Works from the ‘90s!

    Limited to 14 people per docent. Pick up your tour wristband at Visitor Experience available 1 hour before tour.

  • Open Studio

    Join teaching artist Jill Lavetsky as we play with words and images to create visual "found" poems, inspired by artists such as Glenn Ligon and Ed Ruscha in the special exhibition A Remarkable Gathering: The Fisher Landau Family Collection.  

    About the Artist:

    Jill Lavetsky is a visual artist and educator living in Lake Worth, FL. In her figurative paintings, drawings, and collages, she explores themes of motherhood and intimate relationships. Jill received a Master's degree in painting from Florida Atlantic University in 2013, and has taught college, K-12 through community outreach, as well as incarcerated women. She has been featured in exhibitions such as the Florida Invitational at the Boca Museum of Art, and Drawn at Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH.

    It's a battle between old school and new school in this silent disco hosted by father/son duo-turned-rivals DJ Rumble and DJ Play Right. Tune in with a light-up headset and choose your favorite '90s mix!

    Think you know everything about the ‘90s? As if! Put your knowledge to the test with a trivia session hosted by Adam Goldstein from Good as Gold events. First and second-place winners receive a prize!

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $5 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
