Artist Talk: A Conversation with Mimi Plumb and Gregory J. Harris
Friday, October 30, 6 PM – 7 PM
Presented in conjunction with Blazing Light: Photographs by Mimi Plumb, this public conversation brings together photographer Mimi Plumb; the exhibition’s originating curator Gregory J. Harris of the High Museum of Art, Atlanta; and Lauren Richman, Ph.D., the Norton’s William and Sarah Ross Soter Senior Curator of Photography. Together, they will discuss Plumb’s evocative photographs of the Western U.S. landscape and the ways her work gives form to the anxieties, tension, and beauty of contemporary American life.
