Artist Talks provide a rare opportunity for art lovers to meet living artists and get the inside story on their artistic process and what inspires them.
Artist Talk | Shara Hughes: Inside Outside
Saturday, November 22 / 6PM-7PM
Join artist Shara Hughes and Arden Sherman, Glenn W. and Cornelia T. Bailey Senior Curator of Contemporary Art, to discuss Hughes’ special exhibition, Shara Hughes: Inside Outside. In her paintings, Hughes invites viewers to enter the psychological complexity of her inner world, crafting kaleidoscopic visions of a constantly evolving environment. The exhibition features a selection of her earlier works spanning the past two decades, recent paintings, and new ceramic works created during her residency at the Norton.
Space is limited; online registration is required (available September 24 for members and October 1 for non-members).
