Sensory-Friendly Sunday

Join the Norton Museum of Art for a morning of fun! Enjoy art, music, games, crafts, and a quiet space. 

Sensory–Friendly Sundays are designed for children, teens, and young adults with disabilities, ASD, neurodiversity, and anyone with sensory processing differences.

The Museum will be open from 10 – 11 am, exclusively for those with sensory needs and their families, providing a calm, supportive environment for free. Visitors are welcome to stay and continue activities once the Museum opens to the public at 11 am.

Space is limited; online registration required and opens one month in advance.

This is a FREE program.

10–11 AM | Quiet Hour
Explore the Museum during a dedicated sensory-friendly hour and enjoy an interactive I Spy gallery experience.

10 AM–1 PM | Drop-In Activities
Available throughout the event:
Sensory-friendly stuffy art-making activities
Silent disco
Outdoor games
Quiet room with sensory toys and calming lights
Museum-wide I Spy activities

11 AM & 12 PM | Interactive Drum Circle
Join Buckley Griffis of The Rhythm Weavers for an engaging drum circle experience.
