South Florida-based artists lead informal, 30-minute gallery talks about works in the Norton’s collection and special exhibitions.

  • Join a tour!

    Join Lauren Richman, William and Sarah Ross Soter Curator of Photography at the Norton Museum of art, as she hosts a conversation with Ryan McGinley and Lyle Ashton Harris.

  • Open Studio

    Join Guest Teaching Artist Shannon Walker for Open Studio. Through the blots and smears on a water-color toned piece of paper, participants will delve into their subconscious minds to create surprising works of art. Find images to draw and paint, and discover something about yourself through a process explored by artists as diverse as Leonardo da Vinci and the Surrealists!

  • Live Music

    Mr. Cao's Trio

    We are pleased to welcome back Mr Cao’s Trio featuring violinist Adrienne Williams and cellist Anthony de Peña to kick off our Lunar New Year festivities with both traditional and modern compositions by Chinese composers, along with some classic masterpieces. 

    Chinese-American conductor and pianist Yun Cao is recognized for his musical versatility, energetic presence, and compelling musicianship. From classical concerts to opera and musical theater productions, his diverse musical palette has led him to Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Severance Hall, Chicago Symphony Hall, the Lincoln Center, and major concert halls in Asia and Europe. 

    Yun serves as Assistant Conductor for the Palm Beach Symphony in West Palm Beach, Florida, as well as Resident Conductor for the Aurora School of Music. He is also the associate conductor for the Frost Symphony Orchestra and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Orchestral Studies Program at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami under the tutelage of Gerard Schwarz.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Free for Members. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $6 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
