Art After Dark / Years of Glass + The Ricca Project

Live music by The Ricca Project that blends jazz, funk, and RnB, a Lecture by William Warmus titled “Years of Glass:” Collecting a New Medium, and an Open Studio with Teaching Artist Ari Kijanka that features a still life with colored class, inspired by the exhibition Years of Glass: The Norton Collection 1982-2022.

Curator Conversation / “Years of Glass:” Collecting a New Medium
William Warmus, Fellow and former Curator of Modern Glass at the Corning Museum of Glass, explores forty years of collecting glass at the Norton, from its dramatic use in the 20th century by artists like Dale Chihuly, to its avid adoption in the 21st by the fine art world, including artists Olafur Eliasson and Rob Wynne.

Live Music / The Ricca Project
The Ricca Project is a South Florida-based Funk organ trio you need to see! The band consists of Heavy Pets members Jim Wuest (keys/vocals), Jamie Newitt (drums/vocals) and is led by Jesse Ricca (guitar/vocals). Pulling from different genres to make it all work where the funks at. Old school gang vocals and familiar jams will keep the party going all night. This is a new kind of power trio.
