This Art After Dark features the virtual premiere of Jazz Friday: TWYN! Then, hear the story behind Girls’ Club, the only private collection open to the public that is dedicated to contemporary art by women. At the museum, join Spotlight Talks in the Garden.

Virtual Jazz Friday: TWYN
A virtual concert features Miami’s future-jazz duo experimenting with aspects of traditional jazz and electronic music.
TWYN is a collaboration between Electric Kif's keyboardist Jason Matthews & Lemon City Trio's drummer Aaron Glueckauf. Known individually as catalysts in the rapidly evolving Miami music scene, the electronic duo aims to challenge the limitations of instrumental and pop-based songwriting.
This virtual concert premieres on the Norton’s YouTube channel.

The Norton marks its 80th year anniversary in 2021! What’s the Story? invites neighboring cultural and community organizations to mark the occasion by sharing distinguished histories and what’s ahead.
Tonight’s program features the story of Girls’ Club! Girls’ Club produces exhibitions, educational programming, publications and events that focuses on contemporary art by women in the world. Audiences are invited to join the conversation and ask questions using the Live Chat features on YouTube and Facebook.

Spotlight Talks offer brief talks on two sculptures in the Norton’s sculpture gardens. This week features Breaking Away, 1986 by Joseph McDonnell and Joel Shapiro’s Up/Over, 2006-2007.
