Tonight at Art After Dark: Ballet Florida performs an original work in the museum's Central Courtyard inspired by For the Record: Celebrating Art by Women on view until October 3, 2021. Spotlight Talks highlights Keith Haring, Julia, 1987 and Charles Ray’s Huck and Jim, 2014.

Ballet Florida
Ballet Florida performs an original work inspired by For the Record: Celebrating Art by Women. This solo work explores and reframes feminine constructs and cliches, reflecting on the exhibition and encourages the audience to reflect on gender-based inclusion, exclusion, and equity in the art world and beyond.
This performance will be repeated three times throughout the evening. Seating is limited.
About Ballet Florida
Ballet Florida, a 501c3 non-for-profit organization, produces collaborative projects between dancers, choreographers, visual artists, musicians, composers, designers, and other art forms and performs largely in site specific locations as well as traditional theater spaces. The professional company of Ballet Florida reflects a diverse dance medium that is ever evolving just as the world is today.

Tonight’s 5:30 pm & 6:30 pm docent-led Spotlight Talks highlight Keith Haring, Julia, 1987. Also at 6:00 pm, Norton Summer Intern, Madison Hayes discusses Charles Ray’s Huck and Jim, 2014.
To join these 10–15-minute talks, meet in the Fabrikant lobby, outside the Restaurant.
