Art with the Armory / Jewelry Making Workshop: Anish Kapoor
Saturday, August 9 / 10AM-1:30PM
In collaboration with the Armory Art Center and in celebration of Artists Jewelry: From Cubism to Pop, the Diane Venet Collection, tour the special exhibition and then create your own handmade ring inspired by Anish Kapoor’s jewelry and sculptures! Learn to size to fit your finger, form, rivet, and polish brass and silver.
Begin the class at 10 am with a Spotlight Tour at the Norton, then travel to the Armory Art Center (811 Park Place) for the workshop at 10:45 am.
No experience necessary. All skill levels welcome and materials will be provided. Ages 16+
Space is limited; online registration required. (available July 1).
