Through quarterly performances at Art After Dark, Natural Movers Foundation will feature new dance works, as well as those in progress, by local, emerging, and professional artists. A talkback session will immediately follow the performance.

Moving Layers

A modern dance work-in-progress that is both intimate and layered with emotion and connectivity. Storytellers, the dancers move in and out of the space with fluid articulations and grounded-ness. Their ballet-trained bodies exact their movement, yet it’s layered with nuances, gestures, isolation and stillness. Constantly in motion, the dance is shifting, speaking, and moving layers as to tell stories spoken but not yet heard.

The full work will premiere at the Kravis Center on June 16th.
