This two-day workshop inspired by artist Nina Chanel Abney, will explore storytelling and identity through the use of symbols. Participate in a gallery discussion looking at the artist's work, receive an in depth demonstration, then experiment with a variety of printmaking techniques to create your our own hyper-graphic symbols to communicate your unique form of expression. This workshop is designed to engage both beginning and experienced artists, ages 13-17. Admission, materials, and snacks are all included.
