Artist Talks provide a rare opportunity for art lovers to meet living artists and get the inside story on their artistic process and what inspires them .
The talks are free with admission; seating is first-come, first-served.
Artist Pae White works in a variety of forms including sculpture, tapestries, animation, painting, and site-specific installations. Her work is in many museum collections including The Tate Modern, London; The Art Institute of Chicago; and MoMA in New York. Commissioned by the Norton, White has created a new, large-scale piece for exhibition in the Museum’s new Ruth and Carl Shapiro Great Hall. White visits the Museum to discuss her practice, sitespecific art, her work for the Norton, and the artistic impulse to translate the ephemeral into something tangible.
