Pae White

Friday, March 1 / 7 pm

Artist Pae White works in a variety of forms including sculpture, tapestries, animation, painting, and site-specific installations. Her work is in many museum collections including The Tate Modern, London; The Art Institute of Chicago; and MoMA in New York. Commissioned by the Norton, White created a large-scale piece Eikón, 2018, for exhibition in the Museum’s new Ruth and Carl Shapiro Great Hall. White visits the Museum to discuss her practice, site specific art, her work for the Norton, and the artistic impulse to translate the ephemeral into something tangible.
