Teens at the Garden: Girls Make Beats
Friday, September 17 / 5-7pm
Free. Pre-Registration Required.
Limited to 30 teens.

Inspired by our special exhibition For the Record: Celebrating Art by Women, we’ve invited Girls Make Beats, a non-profit organization that empowers girls by expanding the female presence of music producers, DJs, and audio engineers, to lead a special teen activation.

Teens will enjoy the tunes from DJ Marley (@DjMarley954) and then, we’ll make some music! Learn how to create an original track through the art of beat making with instructor Abby Montanez (@AbbyJahaira) who will join you in the Garden via Zoom using your cell phone or a Norton iPad.

iPads and headphones are limited, we encourage you to bring your own iPad or smartphone device as well as headphones or earbuds.
