World Tai Chi & Qigong Day
World Tai Chi & Qigong Day is an international event celebrated on the last Saturday in April at 10 am, local time, to achieve a “wave” effect that travels around the globe. The event allows Tai Chi and Qigong practitioners to meet, exchange ideas, make new friends, and introduce the exercises to people who are unfamiliar with them and would like to learn.
Tai Chi is a gentle, low-impact exercise known to improve balance, flexibility, inner peace, and harmony with the world. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels, it has gained popularity worldwide for its health-giving benefits. World Tai Chi & Qigong Day encourages practitioners to come together annually on the last Saturday of -April, at 10 AM in their local time zone, creating a global wave of energy.
During the event
- Opportunities to connect with fellow Tai Chi enthusiasts
- Participation in the global wave of energy at 10 AM, performing Tai Chi and Chi Kong exercises
- Learning the Yang 8 movement forms which features ease of learning
- Resuming demonstrations at 10:30 AM, featuring Tai Chi, Chi Kong, and Kung Fu skills
- A chance to meet with instructors and practitioners
The event will conclude at 11 AM, but you're welcome to stay, make new friends, or engage with instructors. Whether you're an advanced practitioner or, a curious beginner, join us for a day of learning, connection, and inspiration as we celebrate the power and beauty of Tai Chi and Qigong.
