In-Person Tour Guidelines

- Reservations must be made at least three weeks in advance.
- Admissions for all K-12 schools, teachers and chaperones are FREE. Tours are FREE for all school groups and free busing for school trips to the Norton is available for PBCSD schools.
- In-person school tours are available from at 9:30am, 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm and 1:30 pm. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. No School Tours on Wednesdays.
- Docent led tours are and are an hour long. Tour bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Your tour is not booked until you receive a confirmation e-mail from the Museum. Along with the confirmation, you will receive details about your tour and advance materials, such tour rules and guidelines, maps, and directions.
- Tours are free for all school groups and free busing for school trips to the Norton is available for PBCSD schools.
- We advise you to arrive for check in at least fifteen minutes before your scheduled start time. We provide storage for lunches if interested in having lunch prior or after your scheduled tour.
- There are designated areas in the Museum Garden for lunch, please reserve space when you book your tour.
- For your safety and to adhere to visitors’ capacity regulations, tour times may vary. Please refer to the bookings tour calendar for available schedules. The maximum class size per time slot is thirty students, with two classes per hour, depending upon the tour and availability. If you have a group that is over thirty students you will need to fill out this form twice to reserve both tour groups.
- One chaperone for every ten students is required; a maximum of two chaperones per every ten students may accompany the group. If more chaperones are necessary due to your students’ needs, please share this information at the time of booking.
- In the event that you must cancel your visit, please email [email protected], or call (561) 832-5196 x1046 as soon as possible.
- We cannot extend your guided tour because of late arrival. Please call (561) 832-5196 x1046 to reschedule your visit.
- If you do not see an appropriate tour for your students, call the LCE (Learning a Community Engagement Department) at (561) 832-5196 x1046 to discuss your alternate idea(s)
