A Closer Look in August features an etching by Käthe Kollwitz titled Gesenkter Frauenkopf (Woman with Lowered Head) currently on view in the special exhibition, For the Record: Celebrating Art by Women. Join Norton Museum of Art Teaching Artist, Jill Lavetsky to explore Kollwitz’s printmaking processes and her powerful imagery centered on women, war, and the working class.
