7:15 – 8 pm & 8:15 – 9 pmMusic | Bob Merrill & the Sunnyside Swing Band
Bob Merrill & the Sunnyside Swing Band bring the timeless elegance of the Great American Songbook to life with style, warmth, and authentic swing. Known to many as the engaging host of Legends After Dark on Legends Radio, Bob Merrill is far more than a trusted voice behind the microphone. With the look, demeanor, and musicianship of a classic frontman, Merrill seamlessly steps from radio host to vocalist and bandleader, delivering the songs he champions with charm and conviction.
Hailing from Delray Beach, the Sunnyside Swing Band is dedicated to preserving and perpetuating the unique artistry of early American popular music. Their repertoire offers fresh interpretations of vintage jazz, blues, and country swing from the 1910s through the 1950s, alongside original compositions written in the spirit of these traditional styles. Together, Merrill and Sunnyside Swing create an inviting, nostalgic sound that honors the past while feeling vibrant and alive on today’s stage.
