South Florida-based artists lead informal, 30-minute gallery talks about works in the Norton’s collection and special exhibitions.

  • Join a tour!

    Docents discuss artworks in the Norton’s collection and special exhibitions.

    Pick up your tour wristband at the Reception Desk one hour before the tour.

  • Open Studio

    Inspired by the illuminated manuscripts of Ireland, create your own illuminated initials using gold leaf and other materials with Norton Teaching Artist, Lymari Cuevas.

    6-9pm
  • Performance / Drake Irish Dance

    Drake Irish Dance South Florida, an award-winning Irish dance school, will perform an Irish dance choreography that is a blend of traditional show and competitive style dancing, specially created for Drake Irish Dance by England native and renowned Irish Dancer, Instructor and Adjudicator Kelly Hendry, who performed a lead role in the original Lord of The Dance cast.

    Drake Irish Dance South Florida is home to World, National and Regional Champions and medal-holders, offering competitive and recreational classes for ages 4 to adult in Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale and Sarasota.

  • Artist Tour with Craig McInnis

    Explore works on view in our American and European Galleries, from Norman Rockwell to Edgar Degas, with South Florida-based artist, Craig McInnis. Connecticut born McInnis has been a professional artist in Florida for over 25 years with a creative story that spans from art direction, design, painting, illustration, arts education, performance, and arts advocacy to name a few.

  • Live Music / Allegro Chamber Ensemble

    The Allegro Chamber Ensemble will play your favorite pops, showtunes, and well-known classical works. Lead by Violinist Rafael Elvira with Violist Modesto Marcano and Cellist Carissa Reese.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Admission during Art After Dark is $10 for Adults & Seniors, $5 for Students. Tickets may be purchased at the Reception Desk or reserved in advance

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $5 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton offers indoor and outdoor seating with beautiful views of our Sculpture Garden. Along with great food, The Restaurant serves creative cocktails, wine, and champagne. Reservations available through Tock.
