Art After Dark / Teen Takeover

Art After Dark: Teen Takeover is a night for teens designed by teens!  

This FREE event is led by the Norton’s Teen Advisory Squad (TASq). Check out TASq on Instagram @nortonteens. 

Teens throughout Palm Beach County are invited to get to know the Norton and enjoy a do-it-yourself zine art activity, food and beverages, a live DJ, gallery activations, and more! 

Please reserve a timed ticket here for your free Teen Takeover admission in advance. Select July 30th and the time of your visit, add your admissions to the cart, complete your contact information, and enter the discount code* Teens2021 at checkout to receive your complimentary admission. 

*This code is applicable for ages 12 - 17.

    DJ Marlon Foster supplies the turntables, teens can bring their vinyl records to play. All genres welcome!

    There are no rules when making your own handmade publication. Use stickers,  markers and Xerox copies to make a zine that is totally you.

Attending Art After Dark

Hours: The museum is currently open to the public until 10 pm on Friday nights.

Entry: Please note daily capacity is limited and advance, timed-ticket reservations are encouraged to help ensure a safe and enjoyable visiting experience for all. To attend in-person Art After Dark programs, reserve a timed ticket.

Parking: Parking is available in the Norton’s main parking lot at 1501 South Dixie Highway, immediately across the street from the Museum. Parking is $5 per car, per day. Norton Members park for free.

Food and drink: The Restaurant at the Norton is fully operational, and seating available outdoors with a view of our Sculpture Garden and in the Restaurant. Along with great food, The Restaurant can be enjoyed with creative cocktails, wine, or champagne.  Reservations recommended at 

Admission: Art After Dark is included with museum admission. As always, members enjoy free museum admission.

CDC COVID-19 Community Level for Palm Beach County: HIGH

Current Health and Safety Policies:


The CDC’s COVID-19 Community Level for Palm Beach County is currently High. In response to this, the following general policies are in effect at the Norton: 

  • Masks are mandatory indoors throughout the Museum campus (ages 2+), regardless of negative tests or vaccination status, except while eating or drinking. Masks are provided upon request. 

  • Temperature taking is required upon entering the Museum. Visitors with a temperature of 100.4 F or above will not be admitted. 

  • Capacities will be limited for the Museum and in certain indoor event spaces. Guests are encouraged to reserve admission online in advance.

  • Guests are encouraged to practice social distancing, maintaining 6 feet of space from others. 

  • For the safety of all visitors and the Museum’s staff and volunteers, the Norton encourages visitors to get vaccinated and boosted in accordance with CDC guidance, though this is not required for admission.

The Museum will continue to conduct heightened cleaning and sanitation and will continue to provide mask to visitors who request them.

These policies are informed by guidance and recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other authoritative or controlling government-issued health standards
