Schedule of Events

  • Sundown Cinema: SISTERS WITH TRANSISTORS

    One-time only virtual screening!

SISTERS WITH TRANSISTORS is the remarkable untold story of electronic music’s female pioneers, composers who embraced machines, and their liberating technologies to utterly transform how we produce and listen to music today.

This film is presented in conjunction with the exhibition “For the Record: Celebrating Art by Women” on view until October 3, 2021. Representing a wide range of themes, this exhibition emphasizes today’s working artists and as well as innovators of modernism. Some of the nearly 50 objects, including paintings, sculptures, works on paper, photography, and video, invite visitors to reflect on gender-based inclusion, exclusion, and equity in the art world and beyond.

To watch this one-time only virtual film screening, tune in to the Norton’s YouTube channel. Run time is 90 minutes.

    7-8:30pm
